MILLEGOMME means ‘one thousand tires’ in Italian. It found its origin on Gipsy camps in Rome where garbage architects Jan Körbes and Denis Oudendijk started to make interactive toys using car tires.

Now they create and produce functional objects, furniture, and architecture made from re-used tires. MILLEGOMME has a mobile workshop unit and works on any given location worldwide with a chaninging collective of people.

MILLEGOMME solves architectonical problems by listening to the context and 3D troubleshooting with local materials.
Every year 800 million tires are produced. Just think about it.
